According to the Coimbatore District Collector, 16,528 beds are ready for corona treatment in the Coimbatore district and there is no shortage of oxygen. Coimbatore District Collector Sameeran inspected the ESI Hospital. Special mega vaccination camps are being held at 750 places in the Coimbatore district. In the last three months alone, 87,000 people have been vaccinated at the 24-hour ESI hospital vaccination camp in the district.
Booster dose for the first instalment, second instalment and pre-field staff is being paid here. More than two lakh vaccines are currently in stock. All people must be vaccinated. Currently, only 13 per cent of the beds in the district are full. 16 thousand 528 beds are ready. There is no oxygen shortage in the district.
Micro Continental Zones have been set up at 176 places in Coimbatore with a special focus on those areas. The number of people being discharged is increasing. About 19.7 per cent of those tested in Coimbatore yesterday were diagnosed with coronavirus. Foreigners are allowed only if they have an RTPCR test within 48 hours and proof of no corona or two rounds of vaccination.
