Coimbatore North Round Table 20 launches “Livelihood on Wheels”

Coimbatore North Round Table 20 Ladies Circle. along with Neo Motion and Zomato with its unique project Livelihood on Wheels distributed Electric Scooters for 22 Disabled people of Coimbatore at a ceremony held at Sri Ramakrishna College, Coimbatore.

The Electric scooters are specially designed for the disabled to enable them to make a living. The 22 people were selected basis their interest and background and their willingness to have a livelihood as a delivery partner.

The E-wheel chairs are called “NEO FLY” & “NEO BOLT“. Each wheel chair costs around 1.2 lakhs. All 22 beneficiaries have been screened already and have been offered a Job at Zomato . The Electric scooters are custom fit wheel chair arrangement that is attached to a front wheel powered by Electric on the rim and has a battery that gives a mileage of 50 kilometer per charge. It takes upto 3 to 4 hours to full charge.

Livelihood on Wheels, project of the Round Table aims to achieve the following :

Health – Improving Indoor & Outdoor Mobility of the Differently-Abled persons through customized mobility solutions – NeoFly & NeoBolt

The Event was organised by Round Table of India Ladies Circle in the presence of  Deepinder Singh, the Project Lead, Round Table 20 Chairman, Rahul Rajan, Ladies Circle India Chairperson Aishwarya, Round Table India Area Chairman Pankaj Bhaiya.
