Professor Kanagasabapathi and Shri Annamalai had a joint interaction with Coimbatoreans on National Education Policy 2020.
Professor Kanagasabapathi senior BJP leader and Vice President of TamilNadu BJP along with Shri Annamalai ex IPS officer and recently appointed BJP vice president of TamilNadu had a joint interaction with some Coimbatoreans on National Education Policy 2020.
Professor Kanagasabapathi gave the introduction of the context on which the new National Education Policy has been brought out after a long gap of 34 years since the last policy had come and how detailed this policy document had been framed. He laid emphasis on how the new education policy bridges the gap between education and practical real life. Professor also laid out the important aspects in the new policy like Education Credit Bank – a measure to prevent drop outs, multi disciplinary campuses that facilitate students to take up and pursue what they like, importance of Vocational training and holistic assessment and the language policy that is on par with the developed countries.
Shri Annamalai appreciated the national education policy and highlighted about how the word Hindi is printed only once in the entire policy document and about how the outrage is uncalled for. He emphasized about how a mature view on the policy is needed to realize the true potential of the new policy. He cited how the new National Education Policy will put India on a level playing field in the world’s knowledge led economy.
Both Professor at and Shri Annamalai listed out the vision of New India of Shri Narendra Modi and how this policy will shape the younger generation for a New India.
