22nd Annual Kiddies Meet of PSG Public Schools held
The 22nd Annual Kiddies Meet of PSG Public Schools, Coimbatore was held on 11th August 2023 with a great zeal. The students were very excited about the events and the activities carried out throughout the event.
Dr. N. Vijayakumar, Director and Head of the Physical Education Department, Government Arts College, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest of the event. The event was presided by Shri. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG Institutions. The Head Mistress B. Velumani welcomed the gathering. The occasion was graced by the Principal Mr. E. Girish and The Vice Principal Mr. E. Sathish Kumar, PSG Public Schools.
The sports day event was inaugurated through the flame lighting ceremony. The sports day began with a March Past of all the four houses lead by the respective house captains. The students of the different houses competed with each other in true spirit of sportsmanship. The children showcased their skills through various displays like Ball drill, Umbrella drill, Saree drill, Aerobics, Yoga and Karate.
All the houses were awarded points on the basis of performance and several criteria. The Chief Guest awarded prizes to the winners and declared the winning house as well. The Chief Guest addressed the students and the parents, appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of all the students towards the event and insisted them to have healthy mind and healthy body. Finally congratulated the winners and the winning house for all their efforts.
