8 DMK candidates elected without contest in Negamam municipality

There are a total of 15 wards in Negamam municipality near Pollachi in Coimbatore district. In this DMK, ADMK and independent candidates filed nominations. Candidates who contested in 9 wards in this position were withdrawn.

Thus 8 candidates from DMK and 9 as an independent have been selected without contest. Accordingly 3rd Ward as M. Priya, 6-J. Parameswari, 7-N. Devika, 8-K. Nandavelmurugan, 11-R. Kasturi, 12-D. Kalaimani, 14-P. Nagaraj 15-R. Sabariswaran DMK in 8 wards Candidates and Independent candidate R. Ravi of 9th Ward have been selected without contest.

Therefore, only the remaining 6 wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 13 are scheduled to go to polls on the 19th February 2022.
