AJK Coimbatore Bikers Club Organizes Christmas Bike Rally for Peace and Joy
In a festive celebration to welcome Christmas, the A.J.K. College of Arts and Science Bikers Club organized a unique Christmas Bike Rally in Coimbatore that captivated everyone’s attention.
Christmas, celebrated globally on December 25th to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, is a time of joy and togetherness. With only a few days left for the grand festival, it is customary for Christmas-themed processions to take place, featuring Santa Claus to spread cheer ahead of the celebrations.
In line with this tradition, the Christmas Bike Rally was organized by A.J.K. College of Arts and Science Bikers Club at the Race Course area in Coimbatore. Under the guidance of Dr. Ajith Kumar Lal Mohan, Secretary of A.J.K. College, the event was flagged off by the Principal, Dr. Raju.
Speaking to the media, Dr Raju, Principal, said “This Christmas bike rally was held with the theme of peace and happiness in mind. Let there be peace and joy everywhere.”
Over 100 students, dressed as Santa Claus, participated in the rally, riding their bikes with enthusiasm and spreading the message of peace and happiness. The bikers paraded through the Race Course locality, drawing smiles and cheers from onlookers.
The bikers rally also took a pledge to spread joy and happiness from the self to the house to the community broadening to the state, country and the world over!
The highlight of the rally was the Santas who distributed sweets to children and the general public along their route, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. The sight of Santa Claus riding bikes and sharing sweets in the heart of Coimbatore was a memorable experience for everyone.
With Christmas around the corner, the rally was a delightful way to usher in the celebrations, spreading peace, joy, and a sense of community across Coimbatore.
