As North Korea suffers from corona epidemics, natural disasters, and economic devastation, the people of that country are struggling with hunger. And the ruler of that country decides what the people there should do and what they should think. Now, with famine raging in the country, orders have been issued as to how much people should eat.
The coronavirus that has spread from China has been wreaking havoc around the world for the past year and a half. However, North Korea imposed strict restrictions in January last year to prevent the spread of the virus. As a result, the economy has been hit hard and there has been a severe shortage of food. There is even a situation where you have to pay thousands to buy a banana.
Following this, North Korean President Kim Jong Un blamed the current food shortage in North Korea and ordered that people in North Korea should eat less until 2025. It is noteworthy that from the beginning of the epidemic, it closed its national borders with China. He also blamed the food sector for the food shortages for not properly implementing its grain production program.
Kim called on the authorities to find ways to increase agricultural production, saying the country’s food situation was “very bad” and famine was raging. This was stated in the PTI report released in June this year.
