A one-day workshop on “Transformative Education through Indian Knowledge Systems” was organized by PSG Institutions on July 3, 2024, in the academic block of PSG Hospital in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Dr. P. V. Mohanram, the Secretary of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, welcomed the attendees. Dr. P. Manisankar, former Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University, delivered the keynote address, highlighting strategies to improve the employability of graduates from Tamil Nadu. Anand Lakshmi Adinarayanan, Gomathi Venkatachalam, and Dr. Venkadapathy, senior officials of the Anaadi Foundation, also gave special addresses.
Shri A. Vinod, the National Convener of Shiksha Sanskriti Uthan Nyas (SSUN) from New Delhi, delivered a special address to commemorate the Foundation Day of SSUN. Shri V. Jaganathan, General Manager of PSG Hospitals, Dr. T. M. Subba Rao, Principal of PSG IMSR, Dr. Sudha Ramalingam, Director of Research at PSG IMSR, and Dr. B. Ramamoorthy, Secretary of TQM, honored the guests. The speakers emphasized the importance of Indian Knowledge Systems in fostering the overall well-being of students from early childhood.
They shared best practices from their Ashram at Anaadi Foundation, Palani. Ar. G. Tamilvanan, the Principal of PSG Institute of Architecture and Planning, delivered the vote of thanks. Over one hundred and fifty faculty members from schools and colleges of PSG Institutions participated in the event.
