Additional special trains to Sabarimala via Coimbatore
According to the railway administration, additional special trains will be operated on the Coimbatore route from December 18 onwards to Sabarimala.
According to a press release issued by the Salem Railway Division, special trains will run on the Salem-Coimbatore route from the 18th of this month for the convenience of the devotees during the Sabarimala season.
Accordingly, the Secunderabad-Kollam Special will leave Secunderabad at 5.40 am on December 18. 07133 Kollam-Kollam Superfast Special will leave Kollam at 1.50 pm the next day.
The 07134 Kollam – Secunderabad Special will leave Kollam at 7.35 pm on December 19 and arrive at Secunderabad at 3.30 am the next day. 07135 Kachchikuda – Kollam Special will leave Kachcheguda at 5.30 am on December 22 and arrive at Kollam at 1.50 pm the next day.
07136 Kollam – Kachikuda Special will leave Kollam at 7.35 pm on December 23 and arrive at Kacheguda at 3.30 am the next day. Train No. 07137 Nandedu – Kollam Special will leave Nandedu at 9.45 am on November 23 and arrive at Kollam at 7.40 pm the next day.
The Hyderabad-Kollam Special (07117) will leave Hyderabad at 2.10 pm on December 21 and arrive at Kollam at 9.40 pm the next day.07118 Kollam-Hyderabad Superfast Special will leave Kollam at 2.30 pm on December 23 and arrive at Hyderabad at 8 am the next day. The Kollam-Tirupati Special (07506) will leave Kollam at 12.45 pm on December 25 and arrive at Tirupati at 5.10 pm the next day.
Sabarimala Special trains will stop at Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai and Katpadi. This new train route to Sabarimala via Coimbatore will help many devotees who visit in this season.
