Alumni Reunion at PSG College of Arts and Science

Iconic tea shops, bakeries and ice cream parlours of the 90s era took alumni of PSG Colleges of Arts and Science back to good old days on Saturday.

As many as 500 students of the 1995-1998 batch tasted the flavours of country sugar tea, thaen mittai and semiya ice from their college days. They later visited their classrooms and shared cherished memories.

Sathasivam, a former student of the department of statistics, said the reunion was like a family get-together. “Meeting my collegemates and friends after 25 years is the happiest moment of my life. The nostalgic atmosphere takes us back to those cherished days,” he said.

Lakshmi, another former student, shared the sentiment that “After 25 years, it was incredibly heartening to hear our professors’ speeches again. The cake-cutting ceremony and the overall atmosphere made the reunion day unforgettable!”
