Amazon's AWS crashed again

Amazon Web Services, Amazon’s cloud service, has been affected. Amazon has reported Internet connectivity issues in two regions on the west coast of the United States.

In an official statement released on Wednesday (December 15, 2021, Amazon.com Inc), Amazon Web Services, its cloud service, said it was experiencing Internet connectivity issues in two regions on the west coast of the United States.

Because AWS, the public cloud service provider, supports the online infrastructure of many companies, including Netflix, this service crisis has caused disruption to many customers. Amazon Connect is the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud customer contact center service.

AWS provides a telecommunications infrastructure for every company that uses the service. To access the service, users must have an Amazon Connect account or AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) account.

Amazon says it is exploring Internet connectivity issues in the “US-West-1 and US-West-2” regions.

Downdetector.com reports that many services have been disabled, including Netflix, Slack, Amazon Ring, and Tordesh (Netflix, Slack, Amazon’s Ring, DoorDash). In addition, it is likely that services may have been disrupted in the surrounding areas.
