Annamalai Innovation and Incubation Research Foundation-EDII along with TICEL Bio Park organised a 2 days physical hands-on workshop on BIO 3D PRINTING with Industrial Automation.
Dr. J.U. Chandrakala-IAS Director of EDII- Govt of Tamil Nadu and Thiru. P. Poongumaran, Managing Director of TICEL Bio Park, was invited as a guest of honour. The program was presided over by Mr.G. Daniel Prabhakaran, Chief executive officer of Annamalai Innovation and Incubation Research Foundation-EDII.
The Session was handled by Mr. Krishnan resource speaker from Altem Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Karnataka. 45+ Students and faculties from different colleges/universities of Tamil Nadu actively participated in this event. The sessions included an Introduction to molecular interaction and its significance in biochemical reactions, case studies and their application, an extrusion system on BIOVIA, and BIO 3D print on DLP studies for a Biotech startup. The program’s purpose was to provide entrepreneurial knowledge about the current trends in industrial biotechnology, Promote the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the biotechnology field, and create entrepreneurial awareness of opportunities available in biotechnology.
