Clothes litter in space has become more and more, NASA plans to send soap

NASA, Scientist

The American Space Research Organization (NASA) has been making new efforts from time to time to improve the living conditions of astronauts (Astronauts). NASA previously planned to set up toilets for astronauts at the International Space Station.

Life in space is very difficult. The astronauts who live for months to discover the mysteries and secrets there lead a very different life. Due to the lack of gravity, the way they do each job from eating and sleeping will be different.

One of these is laundry. Water is the most essential thing for washing clothes. It is at a very low level in space stations. Thus the astronauts could not wash their clothes. Due to the lack of laundry facilities at the International Space Station (ISS), astronauts throw used clothes there.

Thus the amount of fabric debris in space has increased tremendously. Due to the lack of laundry facilities, NASA sends 72 kilograms of clothing to each astronaut to the station each year. Therefore, the only permanent solution would be to facilitate the astronauts’ laundry at the space station.

NASA has partnered with Procter & Gamble to solve the problem of laundry in space. Under this, the company will conduct a number of tests using specially prepared soaps for the aerospace establishment. This can create a mechanism for washing in space.
