Coimbatore Corporation arranges to file nominations in 20 places for 100 wards
Arrangements have been made to file nominations in 20 places for 100 wards in Coimbatore Corporation. Assistant Returning Officers have been appointed for this purpose. The date of urban local government elections in Tamil Nadu has been announced and the work is in full swing. Candidature starts on Friday. February 4 is the last day to file nominations.
Nominations will be considered on the 5th. 7th is the last day to withdraw nominations. Accordingly, elections are to be held in Coimbatore Corporation, Pol Lachchi, Valparai, Mettupalayam, Karumathampatti, Madukkarai, K. Kudalur, Karamadai, 7 Municipalities and 33 Municipalities for a total of 831 posts in the Coimbatore District.
Elections are being held for 100 wards in Coimbatore. For this, arrangements have been made to file nominations at 20 places. For this, 20 assistant election officials have been appointed. An officer has been appointed for 5 wards.
