Dr.Praveen underlined that private equity companies have started taking over hospital chains in some parts and they are running the hospitals by themselves. In one aspect, this brings lot of professionalism, structure and process but hospitals here don’t have to automatically follow this pattern; yet it is important to make our hospitals process driven, SOP driven, system driven because that is the way forward, he stressed.
The conference had the participation of leaders & experts in various branches of healthcare sector including reputed doctors and administrators from leading multi-specialty hospitals; executives from Insurance, Medical Equipment Manufacturing, Start-ups, Health-tech, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables Manufacturers and Healthcare Consultants, etc.
TANCARE Healthcare Conference featured 3 panel discussions – ‘Embracing Current Technologies & Enhancing Healthcare Process & Outcomes – The Matrix’; ‘Insurance, Empanelment, Claims Management – Changing Dynamics with Insurance Health Exchange – Inception’ and ‘Manpower Management in Healthcare – Moneyball – Overcoming Limitations and Outgrowing Competition’ – discussed and moderated by experts.
