Increased Covid19 tests in the city; new orders for healthcare workers – 6th Aug 2021
Coimbatore corporation commissioner ordered the health care workers to take Covid19 tests for the laborers working in their respective industrial areas as per standards from TOI Coimbatore. It should be done with care to protect the virus spread among the workers.

Health care workers, who conduct door-to-door checking for covid19 symptoms should also include industrial workers in their routine. This order came from the officials after an industrial unit at Neelambur turned into Covid Cluster.
Raising mosquito-prone diseases should also be tackled along with Covid19. For that, workers must create awareness among the residents to clear unwanted water stagnation near their households.
People will be let inside the parks only after checking their temperatures. Also, it is mandatory for them to wear a mask. Commissioner after inspecting a park appealed to the users to segregate biodegradables and non-biodegradables before disposing of the waste.
