CREDAI’s FAIRPRO 2024 inaugurated by Mr. B. Ganeshan, IAS, Director, DTCP, Govt of TN
CREDAI’s FAIRPRO 2024 – The Festival of Home Deals was inaugurated by Mr. Ganeshan IAS, Director, DTCP, Govt of TN today in a wonderful inaugural ceremony along with Mr. Pravesh Kumar Subudhi, General Manager, Network 3 LHO, State Bank of India, and Mr. R Illankovan, President, CREDAI Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Gugan Ilango, President of CREDAI Coimbatore welcomed the gathering, and in his welcome speech recalled the CSR activities of CREDAI Coimbatore right from the Covid times to resurrecting the 180 year old clock tower in Coimbatore. He was also very thankful to the Govt for the initiatives that are helping the industry like the single window system and the self certification being introduced.
Mr. Surendar Vittal, the Chairman of Fairpro 2024 in his address said Coimbatore is getting ready for the next wave of development and all the members are ready with their new avenues in terms of townships and many new infra projects.
Mr. Illankovan, President of CREDAI Tamil Nadu was all praise for the team in executing such a wonderful event in Coimbatore and he thanked the Chief Guest for his proactive role in making the Single Window System happen and also bringing in the new self certification process.
Mr. Pravesh Kumar Subudhi, General Manager, Network 3 LHO, State Bank of India, in his felicitation address said that events like these make it easy for customers to get a good understanding of the market and decide acccordingly. He said SBI has been a forerunner in developing these projects and the interest rate is also now one of the lowest today. It would be the best time to invest in a property with the help of SBI loans.
Mr. Ganeshan IAS, Director, DTCP, Govt of TN in his address outlined the way Govt is going all out to make this department fully online, already Single Window system is now doing great and the Masterplan for some of the districts have been worked and are in final stages as per the Central Govt GO. More Masterplan for the cities are being readied and will go live in due course.
The self certification model has drawn great response and he said it will make the home owning process much faster like in a days time which used to take over 6 months earlier and this is the first time its being rolled out in the country.
He also said there are lot of new initiatives which will be rolled out from the Department making it easier for the developers and end users too.
He also hinted at deemed approval which if the plan is not approved within a time frame it will be taken as deemed to be approved. These are under consideration of the Chief Minister and the Minister concerned and will be rolled out in some time.
