Although many things are changing and modern in the 21st century, food is a basic need that will never change. Even if the food is not cooked at home, the trend of bringing it from restaurants is widespread worldwide. This has now become a very trivial matter.
But the surprising thing is that drones are used for food distribution. Do you know where and from which country this is? Only South Korea has announced that it will distribute pizza by drone. South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport said in a statement that the drone’s distribution of drones in Sejong will be commercialized by the Korean drone company B-Square and the global pizza chain Domino’s Pizza.
The commercialization area of the drone distribution is from the Domino Pizza Sejong Forum branch to Sejong Lake Park. It has also been selected as a Drone Importance City and Special Liberalization Zone this year, operating from Sejong.
Drone delivery will be from 1pm to 6pm. Drones will do pizza delivery service two to three times an hour. On Saturdays and Sundays from August 21st to October 31st. South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport has announced that drone delivery service will be available through a mobile app for visitors to Sejong Lake Park.
Customers who wish to receive pizza by drone delivery can order at Domino Pizza’s official delivery processor near Sejong Lake Park to track the real-time of the drone carrying the pizza. The government plans to provide more direct services to the post-Covit-19 era and to expand drone distribution in urban areas.
