Dr R Nandini, Managing Director, Chandra Textiles takes over as the Chairperson of CII Southern Region

Dr R Nandini, Managing Director, Chandra Textiles Pvt Ltd has taken over as the Chairperson of CII Southern Region for the year 2024-25. Dr Nandini has been closely associated with CII. She was the Deputy Chairperson of CII Southern Region in 2023-24 and the Past Chairperson of CII Tamil Nadu State Council in 2010-11. She was the Past Chairperson of Education Sub-Committee during 2022-23 and was also the Past Chairwoman of CII Indian Women Network. She is a member of CII National Council. Dr Nandini is serving as a Director in the Board of Cognizant Foundation, the CSR arm of Cognizant Technology Solutions and also an Independent Director on the board of Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO) and a past member of the Board of Governors of NIT, Tiruchirappalli.

Mr Thomas John Muthoot, Chairman & Managing Director, Muthoot Fincorp Ltd has taken over as the Deputy Chairman of CII Southern Region for the year 2024-25. Mr Muthoot is an active member of CII. He is an elected member of CII Southern Regional Council. He was the Chairman of Banking & Financial Services Sub-Committee, CII Southern Region during 2022-23 and was the Chairman of Tourism Sub-Committee of CII Southern Region in 2021-22. He was the Chairman of CII Kerala State Council during 2020-21. Mr Muthoot also serves as the Chairman of Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), a conglomerate with a 135 year legacy that spans trading, retail, and retail finance.
