Electric vehicle manufacturer E-Ashwa Automotive has entered the Indian market with 12 new electric scooters. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, these electric scooters have an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 58,000 to Rs 1.30 lakh in Delhi.
The Ghaziabad-based company launched its two- and three-wheeler electric vehicles range in December 2021. This is for both Business to Business and Business to Customer. That is, all of these electric vehicles have been introduced to suit both segments, freight, and private customers.
This low-speed two-wheeler can run at a speed of 25 km per hour. It can travel 70 to 100 km on a single charge. The electric two-wheeler with a lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in 3-4 hours, while the lead battery takes 6-8 hours to fully charge, the e-Ashwa said in a statement. The company will sell its electric vehicles through 670 franchises across the country.
