Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive at JSB in association with e-Cell IIT-K
Jansons School of Business has organized ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive‘ in association with e-Cell of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur on 27.10.2023.
The grand event has attracted the participants from various colleges, in and around Coimbatore. It was started with a Welcome note delivered by Dr. Sridevi K.B, Professor, JSB and the inaugural address was by Dr. A G V Narayanan, Director, JSB. It was an interesting start of the event with a lot of takeaways related to Ideation behind startups.
The Keynote session was conducted by Mr. Vasanth Vijayabaskar, CSO – GUVI Geek Networks, IITM Research Park and he explained the changing paradigms of Entrepreneurship in developing countries, its necessity, and impact.
The Workshop was led by Ms. Palakh Khanna, a 20-year-old entrepreneur. She elaborated on student entrepreneurship and focused on the strategies for balancing the academics and entrepreneurship by highlighting the essential skills for being a successful entrepreneur, along with personal branding, 5-steps plan, time management, networking, and winning the elevator pitch.
The Online session was delivered by Mr. Madhur Jain, an investment analyst, who shared three case studies including Fogg, Zerodha, and Mamaearth, discussing their strategies, turnovers, and success factors. He has quoted three books, namely Rework, TheEMythRevisited and Loonshots to the audience.
The participants were overwhelmed with the takeaways and mentioned it as a great and interesting event right from the beginning to the end.
