Tamilnadu Caterers Association’s Kongu Wedding Food Festival and Exhibition all set to delight Coimbatore on November 30th & December 1st
Tamilnadu Caterers Association is organizing a one of a kind mega food festival in Coimbatore called the ‘Kongu Wedding Food Festival & Exhibition 2024 at CODISSIA Grounds on November 30th and December 1st .
This grand wedding food festival will witness the participation of 1000+ caterers across Tamil Nadu, and they will present a wide spread of 400+ food multi-cuisine items (veg & non-veg), which will include at least 100 varieties of starters, 150 main course dishes including 10 different biriyanis and 100 different desserts in a mega buffet setup at CODISSIA Grounds for 2 days.
The tickets are priced at Rs.799+ GST for adults. Kids aged 12 and above will be considered adults and entry fee for them is Rs.499+ GST. (Entrance to kids aged 5 and below is free)
The tickets can be purchased only by online mode from ticketing platform BOOK MY SHOW. They were launched by Mr.R.Sundar, Joint-Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust and Madhampatty Nagaraj, President of Tamilnadu Caterers Association and ‘The Mad Chef’ Koushik and Mrs Priyanka Karthikeyani
Managing Director, P&S Group of companies, duing a ceremony on 11.11.24 (Monday) at SNR Auditorium, Avarampalayam.
The Association conveyed that the ticket price is entirely for the huge variety of food items served at the festival, and as complimentary offering, the organizers have arranged for cultural programs on both days.
Celebrity Chef Damu, Vijay TV fame Ramar, Madurai Muthu, ‘Erode’ Mahesh, Kuraishi, Manimegalai, Playback Singer Sathya Prakash, Super Singers Priyanka, Sridhar Sena & Pooja, DJ Black will take part*1 in the fest. (*1Their performance will be as per schedule and not on both days except for Kuraishi and Chef Damu)
The food fest will also include a wedding expo where A-Z of wedding requirements such as decorators, photography brands, jewellery and textile brands will also set up stalls to showcase their works and collection.
This event will be a part of Coimbatore Vizha 2024, and it is not intended for profit but to create a memorable, grand-scale wedding feast occasion that will delight all who visit in every way. More than 50,000 visitors in total are expected. Additionally, the organizers are committed to giving back to the community by providing meals for the less fortunate during the festival. This feast will be as plastic-free as possible.
Entry to the fest will be allowed from 5 p.m. onwards. Visitors are sincerely requested to enter the food counters before 8.30 p.m. Entry to food counters will not be allowed after 8.30 p.m. while attendees inside can stay till the program gets over.
Leadership from Coimbatore District Administration, Coimbatore City Administration and Coimbatore City Police are expected to attend the inaugural on 30th of November. Their participation will be notified after confirmation to the press, media and influencers.
