Govt Women ITI in Coimbatore extends admissions till September 23
The government women Industrial Training Institute (ITI) has extended admissions for 2023-24 till September 23. Spot admission can be done till the last date. Official sources said women who have passed Class VIII and X are eligible for admissions. There is no upper age limit for candidates.
ITI is offering one-year programmes for courses including computer operator and programming assistant (COPA), desktop publishing operator (DTPO), technician (smart healthcare), sewing technology, instrument mechanic, electronics mechanic (EM), information technology (IT), and technician medical electronics (TEM). It is also offering a six-month course on smart phone technician cum app tester.
During the course, students will be taken for an industrial visit (IV), and be given in-plant training, and industrial training. A financial assistance of 750 per month will be given to all trainees. Free bus passes will also be provided for students travelling for up to a distance of 30km.
