Grants to Agricultural Graduates as Entrepreneurs: Collector Sameeran

The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced to start Agri clinic and agribusiness with government subsidy under the program to make agricultural graduates entrepreneurs.

37 Village Panchayats in 12 districts have been selected under the All Village Integrated Agricultural Development Program in Coimbatore District for this project.

Must be 21 to 40 years of age have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture or agricultural engineering and be unemployed in the public or private sectors.

Only one member of a family can apply. For this, the applicant can submit a 10th or Class XII mark certificate, degree certificate, copy of Aadhar, copy of family card, bank account details, bank loan approval report of the bank and a detailed project report up to Rs. 2 lakhs.

Of this, a grant of Rs 1 lakh will be provided. Entrepreneurs will be selected by the District Selection Committee headed by the District Collector. Contact the Associate Director of Agriculture for more details, he said.
