Harts, a German startup commemorates World MSME Day at Coimbatore
On June 27th, commemorating World MSME Day, Harts, a German startup, brought together around 100 leading suppliers from various industries alongside esteemed institutions like ICCI, CII, IIF, SIEMA, CODISSIA to showcase their flagship product – Innai. The event was presided over by prestigious speakers – Mr.B Sriramulu, President of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Coimbatore (ICCI); Dr.K.Senthil Ganesh, Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Coimbatore; Mr. C.Sathyamurthy, Chairman of Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) Coimbatore Chapter; Mr. D. Vignesh, President of Southern Indian Engineering Manufacturers Association (SIEMA) and Mr.V. Rangasamy, Vice President of Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA).
Harts was established with the purpose of bringing two worlds together – European manufacturing demands and India’s supplier capabilities with a special focus on NRW, the industrial region in Germany and Coimbatore, the Manchester city of India, as the founders are from these regions. Innai is their unique digital platform that aims at bringing European suppliers to India facilitating trade with cutting edge solutions like digital twins, supplier health index and risk radar.
Sreema Nallasivam, one of the co-founders, during her interaction said, “To me it is a surprise with so much world class capabilities in Coimbatore, we are yet to be considered preferred partners for Europe to meet its growing demands.”
Cristian Margaretic, the CEO of Harts, said, “Disruptive events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical tensions have alarmed Europe to seek solutions that increase the resiliency of their supply chain and diversify suppliers. Having spoken to buyers from Europe, this is the perfect time for such a product to come into the market.”
Co-founders of Harts, Sakthisree Venkatesan talking about what’s special about Harts during the interactions said, “What makes us unique from other players in the market out is that we stand to create value on three levels – Trade, Culture and community. While other products provide features like order management, we go beyond to give features that help suppliers and buyers foster communities and connect cultures.”
“Having worked in the European manufacturing space for 20+ years, we understand the gaps that exist today and we are looking forward to bridging these via Innai.” Says the COO of Harts, Ramalingan Nallasivam.
