The 48th year annual belt test was organized by the Japan Hayashi-ha karate federation in Coimbatore.
The tests were conducted by Malaysia-based grand master Hanshi Dhoni Ponnaiah. More than 100 students from various schools participated in the test. The winners were bestowed with belts based on their qualifications.
Students of CMC international school participated and won the competition. School correspondent Leema Rose and principal Bakkiyalakshmi Karthikeyan distributed certificates to the students. They also advised the students that Karate would help them to keep them fit both physically and mentally. National secretary of the federation Ramesh Kumar Sivaraj organized the event.
