India beat South Africa in the first Test

The first Test match between India and South Africa was played at Centurion. India won the toss and elected to bat first. KL Rahul, vice-captain of the Indian Test team, scored 123 runs. Mayank Agarwal scored 60 and Rahane 48. Then, South Africa, who started the first innings, rolled to 197 runs. Bauma scored 52 runs.

Mohammad Sami took 5 wickets for India. Following this, the Indian team lost by 174 runs in its 2nd innings. Rishabh pant is top-scored for India with 34 off 34 balls. South Africa (SOUTH AFRICA), who started the second innings with a target of 304 to win, lost wickets in succession as in the first innings. Dean Elgar played better and was dismissed for 77 runs.

Bauma, who was unbeaten till the last, scored 35 runs. The defeat of the South African team could not be avoided as the other players were bowled out for short runs. In the end, India won by 113 runs. Special bowlers Bumrah and Shami took 3 wickets each while Siraj and Aswin took 2 wickets each.
