In the wave of ravaging weather events across India, a first-ever US intel report on climate has specified India and Pakistan among 11 countries that are ” highly vulnerable” in handling the changing environmental and societal system due to climate change.
The US National Intelligence assessment on climate change implies India and China will play vital roles in determining the course of global temperature rise and discuss the west’s role in the crisis. The news warns of geopolitical unrest and US security risks as an outcome of global warming.
These countries are likely to encounter more extreme weather and disturbance of marine patterns that will lead to climate change, frequent droughts, heatwaves, food, and water scarcity. There will be a massive loss of biodiversity in these 11 countries leading to the end of plants and animals.
According to a study, India and China are the largest polluters in the world. It’s a major obligation for the people to be aware of global warming and should start to conserve natural resources.
