Cyber hackers from China, Pakistan and North Korea are reportedly trying to hack into computers connected to India’s nuclear and defense production, according to a spy threat report by the intelligence service.
From October 1 to October 31 this year, a plot was hatched to hack the computers of key departments in the country, according to a report sent to the federal government and the states. A total of 56 cyber hacking attempts were made by Internet processors, the report said.
According to the intelligence report, the cyber attack was carried out on state police, cooperative banks, paramilitary forces, and civil aviation and government departments In Maharashtra. Attempts have been made to hack the computers of the main sector with nine processors.
This was followed by a major hacking attempt through 7 web applications in Punjab and 5 in Kerala.
