Indian ODI team led by Rahul
The first ODI between India and South Africa starts tomorrow in Parl. The match is scheduled for 2 pm Indian time. The three-match series runs from tomorrow until January 23. The first two matches will be played at Parle Stadium and the last match will be played in Cape Town.
South Africa won the Test match 2-1. Thus, the Indian team is forced to win the ODI series. New India ODI captain Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the series due to injury. Thus KL Rahul is set to lead the team. Jayant Yadav and Navdeep Saini have been included in the Indian squad due to a corona infection in Washington Sundar and Siraj has been ruled out due to injury.
Both countries have played 15 ODIs on South African soil so far, with India winning 9. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, and Jaspreet Bhumira are considered to be important players for the Indian team.
