Intensive surveillance by flying force officers

TN election, flying squad

Urban local elections will be held on the 19th. In this case, the rules of conduct of the election are in force from the day the election date is announced. In this situation, a flying squad has been set up in the municipal areas to prevent political parties from giving money and gift items to the voters.

Police Special Sub-Inspector Thennarasu and police led by Pollachi Taluk Electoral Division Special Tahsildar Vasudevan conducted a vehicle search in Kottur municipality. Also, the vehicle test was recorded by the video camera.

Election officials said that 3 flying squads have been set up in Pollachi municipality and 2 flying squads in the municipality. The Flying Squadron will be on patrol 24 hours a day in rotation.

If you carry more than Rs 50,000 without documents, it will be confiscated. Also, items worth more than Rs 10,000 will be confiscated by the Flying Squad even if they are taken without documents.

The confiscated money will be returned if the relevant documents are shown for the goods. Strict action will be taken if money and gift items are given to voters. Everyone must co-operate for the election to take place peacefully in an honest manner.
