Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been granted a Golden Visa by the United Arab Emirates government. What is a Golden Visa? The Golden Visa is for granting long-term citizenship to certain individuals.
In the case of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the government issues Golden Visas to entrepreneurs, investors, bright students with a keen interest in science, and talented researchers in various fields of science and sciences.
The United Arab Emirates implemented the Golden Visa in 2019. Foreigners with a Golden Visa in the United Arab Emirates can stay study and work there without the need for a national sponsor. In addition, businesses located in key locations in the UAE can enjoy 100% ownership.
These visas will be issued for 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically.
