Coimbatore Deputy Commissioner of Labor Welfare issued permanent identity cards to 300 workers.
The registration camp for the workers working in the micro-enterprises in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Industrial and Micro-Entrepreneurs (DOCT) Association and the Department of Labor Welfare was held at a private hall in Idayarpalayam for the Permanent Worker Identity Card brought by the United Government.
The camp was led by James, the district president of the DOCT Association. Coimbatore Deputy Commissioner of Labor Welfare Sellappa handed over the identity cards to the workers. In this camp, 300 people who do not have ESI registration, workers working with small entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs were initially registered with permanent identity cards and immediately issued.
