Babar Assam-led Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets in the group stage of the 2021 T20 World Cup to record their first victory in the World Cup against India.
Pakistan captain Babur Assam has said that Pakistan’s victory over arch-rivals India (Indian Cricket Team) in the ICC T20 World Cup was the best moment of the year.
He also thanked young fast bowler Shaheen Afridi after controlling Virat Kohli-led India to 151/7. Babur and opening partner Mohammad Rizwan added 152 not out to help Pakistan to a 10-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates.
“This is a great achievement for us as a team because we have not beaten Team India in the World Cup for many years. This is the best moment of the year,” Babur told the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) podcast.
