Karishma the intercollegiate festival at PSGR Krishnammal sees many talents
In commemoration of the birth centenary of the esteemed Founder Trustee, Smt. G. Chandrakanthi, this year’s Karishma celebrations took on added significance in the PSGR Krishnammal College for Women.
Karishma, the intercollegiate cultural fete, held on Feb 10. with a plethora of cultural events and competitions both on and off stage, all revolving around the theme “Shaping Destiny – Celebrating Talents.”
Dr. N. Yesodha Devi, the Secretary, welcomed the gathering and inaugurated the grand cultural fete. The proceedings commenced with the enchanting melodies of Mr. Sam Vishal J.X.
Notably, Mr. Vishal J.X. had secured the prestigious II Runner up title in Super Singer.
At the valedictory session, Principal Dr. P. Meena welcomed the gathering, introducing the esteemed chief guest, actor Ms. Akshaya Udayakumar, a social media influencer and distinguished alumna of the institution.
The coveted title of Mr./Ms. Karishma was awarded to Ms. Sushmitha representing PSG College of Arts and Science. The first runner-up position was secured by Mr. V. Vishnu Prasanth from SNMV College while Mr. R. Vishnu Rathish from VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science and Mr.P.Dharunkumar from Kongu Engineering College claimed the second runners-up spot.
Ms. D. Aarthi, President of the College Union, proposed a vote of thanks.
