Kids for Tigers program at National Model School

In a bid to instill a sense of environmental stewardship among the younger generation, an inspiring environmental awareness program titled “Kids for Tigers” took place on November 29, 2023, at National model matriculation higher secondary school. The event, led by Mr Mohammed Saleem, a distinguished National Geographic educator, drew the participation of approximately 170 enthusiastic students and teachers.

The primary objective of the program was crystal clear — to ensure the survival and significance of tigers within our ecosystem and to contribute to the preservation of the tiger population in India. Mr Saleem delved into the intricacies of tiger conservation, shedding light on the critical need to protect their habitats and minimize the threats that jeopardize their existence. Throughout the session, attendees were provided with valuable insights into practical measures to preserve tiger habitats and mitigate the challenges faced by these majestic creatures.
