KPRIET Conducts KPR Trophy Badminton Tournament
KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, conducted a state-level badminton tournament under KPR Trophy 2024, an interschool championship last Sunday at the institute’s indoor sports complex.
More than 150 young players in male and female categories from 65 schools and 15 badminton academies of Tamil Nadu participated under the age groups U-11, U-13, U-15, and U-17.
Chief guests Dr Thomas Carolus, Visiting Professor (Germany), KPRIET, and Dr Siva, Director of Physical Education, PMT College, Madurai, encouraged the winners and distributed medals and certificates.
“KPR Trophy 2024 calls for different teams and individual sports on August 2nd and 3rd to promote sports among the younger generation”, says Dr D Saravanan, Principal, KPRIET.
