PSGR Krishnammal College for Women join hands with Sustainability Energy Practitioners Association SEPA to host a national event – Sustainability 2023.

PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is proiud to announce its collaboration with the SEPA in organising a prestigious National event focusing on sustainable Energy practices.

During a press meet today at the PSGR KCW campus, briefed collectively by Dr. Yashodha, Secretary of PSGR Krishnammal College, Mr. M Anil, Executive Council Member, (Industrial Council) SEPA, Mr. Kishore Bhuvaragha, Vice President, (Industrial Council) SEPA, Nandini Rangasamy, Chairperson, PSGR Krishnammal College, Dr. Raghuram Arjunan, President of SEPA. Dr. L Ashok Kumar, Vice President * Academic Council) SEPA; they outlined the vision of the event and how SEPA is working towards making the industry institution interaction more fruitful.

Industry and academia have started to work together to create a technological and demographically inclusive movement that seeks to achieve its aims that are in synchronisation with the Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

SEPA is organising a National Event Sustainability India 2023, comprising a series of workshops. The inaugural workshop is organised at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore on the 24th and 25th of July 2023. The Second Workshop is planned at Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Tech at Hyderabad on the Aug 21 and 22. Two more events at Pune and Noida are planned for September and October.

The Workshops will feature Technical Presentations, Panel discussions on a wide range of issues facing the renewable energy domain particularly Solar Energy and Green Hydrogen, covering advances in Materials, Tech, Reasearch Policy Framework, Skill Development and Training.

Alongside these events a national level Solar competition has also been planned which is expected to see a lot of participation from students and researches and industry participants.

It is also important to note that Solar Energy Corporation of India the nodal agency under the government has come forward to support this event as a Key Sponsor.
