Last month Corona! Visa ban this month! Lamenting Novak Djokovic
The conflict between the famous tennis player Novak Djokovic and the Australian government has intensified. The Australian government is currently preparing to ban Djokovic, as he was detained at the airport following the cancellation of Djokovic’s visa. The Australian Open tennis tournament kicks off in Melbourne on the 17th of this month (January 17, 2022).
The tournament organizing committee and the Australian government have advised that all participants must be vaccinated against corona. However, Djokovic, who came to the tournament, did not have the relevant documents related to the medical tests. His visa was revoked, so he was detained at the airport.
Novak Djokovic, a nine-time Australian Open Grand Slam champion, has been asked if he can attend this year’s Australian Open tennis tournament as his visa has been revoked for not paying for the corona vaccine.
