Mahathi Kamesh conferred Nadanamani, enthralls audience during her Arangetram
The Bharatanatya Arangetram of Mahathi Kamesh, disciple of Nrithya Rathna Dr. Amutha Dhandapani happened on November 25th at Nani Kalaiarangam, Coimbatore. Isai Perarignar Kalaimamani Krishnakumari Narendran and Mr. Lakshminarayanaswamy, Chairman, Suguna Group of Institutions were the Chief Guests. The title Nadanamani was conferred on Mahathi Kamesh.
Audience was enthralled with Mahathi’s footwork and the apt Bhavam she displayed on each of the songs. The Varnam On Lord Meenakshi, composed by Padmashri Lalgudi G Jayaraman – Mahathi beautifully displayed the Navarasas. The Padam , Thevaram, Thillana, Anjaneyar Kililanni we’re all beautifully performed . Many in the audience felt goosebumps and could connect with the songs.
