Maiden National Space Day celebrated at PSG College of Arts & Sciences

India celebrates its Maiden National Space Day on 23 August 2024, marking the one- year anniversary of the chandrayaan-3 mission’s successful lunar landing. This day honour’s india’s achievement in space exploration and aims to inspire youth in STEM fields.To offer a thought-provoking and engaging examination of astronomical ideas, employing a blend of scientific discussions and imaginative presentations.

Maiden National Space Day was celebrated on 23.08.2024 from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM at PSG Arts & Science College Campus. In this regard, Shri.R. Senthil kumar, Satish Dhawan Space Centre (Outstanding Scientist, Former Deputy Director, MSA & Ex Project Director,  VCS – STP ) Sriharikota visited our campus and also Tamilnadu Astronomy and Science society & Kovai Astro Club joined for this and did a live demonstration..
