When was the Maruti Suzuki Electric launched?

Although the company has not yet released the exact date for the launch, it has confirmed that the launch date will be decided by the parent company Suzuki. In addition, Maruti Suzuki is also developing a flex-fuel vehicle that will come with CNG in the future. Currently, Tata Motors is the largest electric car company in the country. Tata Motors sold more than 1,000 electric vehicles last September.

How is the demand for electric vehicles in the market?
RC Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India, said,The number of 1000 vehicles is very good. But we are not so excited about this. We cannot be happy selling only 1000 vehicles per month. It has to go above and beyond. There should be good demand for electric vehicles in the market. As we begin to sell electric vehicles, there should be about 10,000 vehicles in stock each month alone.”

The company focuses on flex-fuel engines
Maruti Suzuki has already stopped producing diesel engine cars. The company is working to bring CNG products soon and develop Flexible-fuel Vehicles for the future. It is noteworthy that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had recently said that the government would make flex-fuel engines mandatory for all types of vehicles within 6 months.
