Miss World 2021 pageant postponed: Corona for many, including Mansa from India
The threat of a new variant of the corona, Omicron, continues to grow around the world. The number of previous variants of corona infection is also increasing.
The corona infection is currently affecting the finals of the Miss World pageant 2021. Corona infection was confirmed for 23 of the contestants who took part in the competition, and the final has now been postponed. A total of 23 people, including Mansa Varanasi of India, have been diagnosed with the infection.
The finals of ‘Miss World 2021’ will be held at the Jose Miguel Acrelode Coliseum in Puerto Rico. However, a few hours before the event it was announced that the match had been postponed. Due to the corona, the final match will take place later, organizers said.
The organizers of the World Beauty Contest have also released a statement. It has been announced that it has decided to postpone the finals considering the safety of the staff and the participants.
