Modern patrol vehicles for the Coimbatore police
Police are patrolling in vehicles at night to prevent crime in Coimbatore metropolitan areas. The patrol vehicles provided to the police broke down. So the police could not reach the spot in time. Subsequently, new vehicles were purchased to patrol the police. They were brought from Chennai to Coimbatore.
Currently, those vehicles are in Coimbatore PRS. The training is parked on the school grounds. Top police officials said: Coimbatore Metropolitan Police to use GPS to patrol 17 patrol vehicles with modern facilities including facilities have been procured. These vehicles are in red.
The sub-inspector and the police will be on patrol 24 hours a day in this patrol vehicle. Municipal Police Commissioner Pradeep Kumar will soon provide this to the respective police stations.
