National dessert day – Hello foodies, It’s your content!
People around the country celebrate every October 14th as National Dessert Day
The origin of the word dessert comes from the French “desservir”, a word which here means ” to clear the table”. This, of course, referenced the dish that came after clearing the main dishes served as part of the meal. It is celebrated by way of the local bakery, grandma’s house, or chocolate shop.
Their presence on the menu makes us feel satisfied after a meal and compensates for low blood sugar. The desire to improve your mood by ingesting sugar can also be a factor. Sweet snacks increase our production of the so-called hormone of happiness
Desserts include candies, pies, tarts, ice cream, cookies, pastries, cupcakes, cobblers, donuts, tiramisu, and mousse which are eaten and enjoyed by people all over the world. But it’s always delicious, isn’t it?.
