Neenashree B, PSGR Krishnammal Student sets World Record in Silambam
Ms. Neenashree B, I BCOM (BA) from PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India created a world record in the prestigious FUTURE KALAM’S BOOKS OF RECORD and UNIVERSAL AXGIEVERS BOOKS OF RECORD by becoming the first female Silambam artist to perform different forms of Por Silambam, including Guru Vanakam, Sabai Vanakam, Boomi Vanakam, Idadhu Sutru, Valadhu Sutru, Mun Sutru, Pin Sutru, Erandam Padam, Moondram Paadam, Nangam Paadam, Padai Veechu, and Thalai Aruppu, continuously for a record time of 3 hours on 26th January, 2024, in Coimbatore.
In recognition of her extraordinary accomplishment, Ms. Neenashree has been honored with a Doctorate for her exceptional achievement. Additionally, she has been awarded by Kortavai News as ” “Silambatta Singam” for her outstanding contributions to the field of Silambam.
This remarkable feat has been officially confirmed on 27th January, 2024.
