Nitya Gurukula organises International Tai Chi Conference in Coimbatore

Nitya Gurukula  will be organising and hosting the International Tai Chi Conference ITYCC 2024 from September 19th to the 22nd. Ms. Sasi Chandran in a media interaction said this is the first time a reputed international Tai Chi expert Dr. Paul Lam will be in Coimbatore, India to deliver the keynote and also take sessions for the participants.

Tai Chi is an ancient exercise, is a moving meditation that harmonises the mind, body and spirit. Its renowned for reducing stress, improving balance, relieving pain and enhancing mental clarity. ITC will be a great platform for those looking to get initiated into Tai Chi. This is an open invitation for all irrespcective of the backgrounds like religion, caste etc.

This four day conference has four different themes on each day, the day 1 will have Enhanced Immunity & Lifestyle as a theme, while day 2 will dwell on Health and Wellness. The day 3 will help work on Performance Enhancement and day 4 will be about Stress Reduction and Work Life balance.

Dr. Paul Lam will keynote during the sessions and the Police Commissioner has consented to be the Chief Guest. Notably 10 Police personnels will undergo Tai Chi training as sponsored candidates from Nitya Gurukula initiative. This will help the police to reduce stress and help them rework their health especially given  that they stand of long hours and things like that. Also this will be a powerful addition to those who are into Yoga.

There is also sessions planned with Master Trainers Kartikey Shukla and Sylvia Das who have now dedicated their life to teach Tai Chi. They come with years of corporate experience and today travel to teach the art & science of Tai Chi.
