Omicron marginalizes new IHU variant: 12 affected in France

Scientists have discovered another new variant of the Covid-19 epidemic, the IHU variant. This variation was first detected on December 10th. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) has not yet named the variant under investigation. Data has been reported that at least 12 people have been affected near Marseilles by the new IHU variant.

The people of the world are already in a state of panic over the sudden increase in the number of Covid 19 infections and the new variant of the coronavirus called Omicron. Now, scientists in France have discovered a new variant with more mutations than Omicron.

Named IHU, variant B.1.640.2 was discovered by academics at the IHU Mediterranean Infection Institute. Researchers say it has 46 mutations. It is more permeable and more resistant than Omicron.
