Voting for the urban local government elections in Tamil Nadu was held on the 19th. The registered votes in Pollachi municipality and municipalities will be counted tomorrow (Tuesday). A consultative meeting was held at the Pollachi Municipal Office under the chairmanship of the Assistant Returning Officers.

Candidates and agents must be at the ballot counting center by 7 p.m. It is forbidden to bring a cell phone into the center.
People coming to the counting center will be examined by the medical team with a thermal scanner. After that they will be allowed inside. All are must wear a mask.
Corona safety guidelines must be adhered to, including social space. Candidates and agents are issued an identity card with photograph.
