Penalty for riding a bike at 40Km with a child

Motor Law

If you have a four-year-old child sitting on a bike and riding at 40km / h, it is going to cost you a lot. Do not indulge in such acts anymore. Under the new rule, this will be considered a traffic violation and you will be fined.

The Ministry of Road Transport has implemented a new law in this regard for the safety of children. The government is taking these safety measures for children sitting on the back of the bike.

In this case, children between the ages of 0 and 4 are required to carry a protective shield when traveling on a two-wheeler. That means children no longer have to wear helmets. According to traffic law, if a child over the age of four sits on a bike, it is considered a ride, that is, if a child sits with two people, it is considered three persons.

You will be fined for this. Violation of this law carries a fine of Rs.1000. Apart from this, if a male and child are sitting on the bike, safety standards must be observed. Otherwise, you will have to pay a fine for its violation.
